keep grabbing the leaves
tearing your way up
don't worry about them
as they fall to the ground.
strip the branches bare
as you start struggling
slipping slowly back down
as you fall to the ground.
reach out for the vine
it seems to reach back
letting you know that
when you hold on to Him
you will never fall to the ground.
