walking the rows
reading the words
that cover the spines
and span the shelves
spinning my head
twisting my neck
to take in the titles.
making the decision
seems much easier
when i can read
my way through one
and on to the next
again and again
knowing that this
is just one choice
that i don't even
have to make.
